Mordant Solution

Johnstone's Trade Mordant Solution is a pre-treatment product designed for preparing galvanised metal surfaces before the application of topcoats. It converts the nature of the surface to ensure the adhesion of any one of a wide range of Johnstone's Trade coatings. Available in blue with a matt finish, it covers approximately 15 square metres per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the surface, and will dry enough for recoating in under a maximum of 24 hours, but this can often be much quicker in good conditions.
